On Wednesday, October 7 at the Bolling Haxall House, over 200 guests were entertained, inspired, and captivated by the recipients of this year’s Carol S. Fox Making Kids Count Awards Reception. The event, in its 4th year, acknowledges and celebrates an individual and organization that have had an impact for kids all over the Commonwealth. This year’s recipients were Elly Lafkin, Grace and David Gallagher, and Family Lifeline.
Voices for Virginia’s children would like to thank our Title Sponsor (AT&T), Reception Sponsor (Dominion), all the other sponsors and distinguished guests, and emcee Lisa Schaffner. All those who attended were treated to inspirational videos and engaging conversation, and left feeling enthusiastic after hearing the recipients’ stories. This year’s Carol S. Fox Making Kids Count Award Reception was the best yet.
