Girls for a Change- Mental Health Listening Session

Voices for Virginia's Children is taking steps to initiate conversations that address barriers children and families of color face when accessing mental health services in the Greater Richmond area. Given the lack of research specific to the experiences of youth of color when seeking mental health treatment, the first step is to listen to impacted communities. Listening session findings will inform policy recommendations in order to address inequities within our mental health systems when it comes to experience of youth and families of color when accessing services. A stipend will be available to thank you for your participation.
