Playdate at the Capitol

Bring your young children to a “playdate” with delegates, senators, and the First Lady of Virginia at the Capitol on President’s Day, Feb. 17th.

Parents know how hard it is to find affordable early care, the struggles of providing for a family, as well as the absolute joys of being a parent. Come to the Capitol to celebrate the fun of early learning and help inform and encourage state elected officials to continue to invest in more early learning opportunities.

The Governor has included significant investments in early childhood education and healthy births in his budget. Now it is time for our state elected officials to determine what will be included in the final budget. Join us at the Capitol to show your children where state laws are made, and show your lawmakers how kids learn through play! You can help make sure your delegate and senator come to play!
