Take Action Now! Use Voices 2019 Election Guide

Posted:  -  By: Chlo'e Edwards

Voices for Virginia’s Children champions public policies that improve the lives of kids across the Commonwealth. We are nonprofit, nonpartisan, and data-informed.

In November 2019, all 140 seats in the General Assembly are up for election. The 40 senators and 100 delegates determine how laws are written and whether those laws will help Virginia’s children succeed. We want candidates to be informed about issues that matter and voters to engage in conversations that highlight the needs of Virginia’s children.

Help support all kids, especially those who are often overlooked — young children, those who are economically disadvantaged, children of color, those with mental health challenges, or those in foster care — to grow up safe, healthy, and to reach their fullest potential. Jumpstart conversations about important topics using the 2019 Election Guide. The elements include Early Childhood, Family Economic Security, Children’s Mental Health, and Trauma-Informed Care. We have questions prepared for you and ready to go!
