Recap – Foster Care Advocacy Day Hosted by Children’s Home Society

This year Children’s Home Society, a member of the foster care unified agenda, hosted the foster care advocacy day for families and professionals in the field. The purpose of this advocacy day was to highlight key issues on the unified agenda:
Codifying Fostering Futures
State-funded Kinship Care Program
Stabilizing the workforce through 1) increased salaries 2) updated case management system and 3) updated training model

Legislative Visits
Advocates and families from across the Commonwealth came to share their personal stories with lawmakers.
