This article from The Virginia Gazette in Williamsburg clearly explains the history of these efforts and the current state of suicide prevention activities in the Commonwealth. She also chairs the Virginia Suicide Prevention Coalition and serves as a member of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline’s Standards.
