Join us for our 2019 Foster Care Advocacy Day! The Foster Care Unified Agenda is created by partners from across the Commonwealth who represent policy advocates, service providers, parents and caregivers, and—most especially—youth to identify key legislative opportunities to improve Virginia’s child welfare system. We will meet at the Virginia Poverty Law Center at 8am to hear policy updates, partners, and legislators! Following, we will walk over to the General Assembly to begin meetings with legislators in groups. We will end the day with a quick debrief from your group leader and next steps to look forward to!
