The 6th Annual Carol S. Fox Making Kids Count Awards Reception was a celebratory event recognizing the impressive and necessary work of an individual and two organizations that improve the lives of Virginia’s children. The event took place on Wednesday, October 4th, at the John Marshall Hotel in Richmond. The 2017 honorees were:

St. Joseph’s Villa
Virginia Latino Higher Education Network (VALHEN)

The approximately 200 attendees left inspired after hearing a discussion about the work of the recipients, led by emcee Lisa Schaffner.
