The 7th Annual Carol S. Fox Making KIDS COUNT Awards Reception was a celebration recognizing the impressive and necessary work of an individual and organization that improve the lives of Virginia’s children. Voices for Virginia’s Children was thrilled to have the First Lady of Virginia Pamela Northam join us to honor those who are advocating for children across the commonwealth. The event took place on Thursday, October 4th, at the John Marshall Hotel in Richmond. The 2018 honorees were:

Individual: Linda Nablo, of Richmond

Organization: Children’s Home Society of Virginia

The approximately 220 attendees were on hand. We also announced that we are celebrating our 25th anniversary  in 2019. Thanks in part to our Title Sponsor: Dominion Energy, Reception Sponsor: AT&T, and other sponsors — we raised over $65,000 this year. Read more about the event here.
