The What’s Right With Us- Creating Black History series highlights the resilience within Black culture and the culture’s ability to transform institutions of oppression. This Black History Month Community Chat features Michael O. Royster, MD, MPH, a Fellow of the American College of Preventive Medicine and the Vice President of the Institute for Public Health Innovation (IPHI). He has established the Institute’s Richmond office and is expanding and developing initiatives to support public health priorities across Virginia. He provides expertise and oversight for an extensive portfolio of programs including community health workforce development, health in all policies, healthy eating and active living policies, and community health improvement planning.
