Samia Minnicks

Communications Manager
She/her/hers

Samia’s professional background blends creative storytelling with strategic communications. As a professional photographer and visual storyteller, she has spent years working with entrepreneurs, families, and community leaders to document stories that preserve cultural history and celebrate legacy. Through this work, she developed a deep appreciation for the power of narrative to shape how communities understand themselves and how others understand them.

Her work has consistently focused on elevating voices that are often overlooked and using storytelling as a tool for connection, education, and cultural preservation. Samia is passionate about the intersection of communication, community, and equity, and believes that stories, when told with care and intention, have the power to shift perspectives and strengthen communities.

Samia graduated from Virginia State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.
