Mother’s Day is quickly approaching! At Voices for Virginia’s Children, we want to help you recognize and celebrate all the love, commitment, and hard work of mothers, while also helping out Virginia’s kids. We need your help to do this!

Voices champions public policies that improve the lives of Virginia’s children. We speak up at the state Capitol and beyond in favor of laws that help kids and families, and those that support moms across the Commonwealth. Your donation in honor of your mother or other mothers you admire can help amplify our efforts this year. During the 2017 General Assembly session, we achieved some important outcomes:

• protecting millions of dollars of investments in children that were made in 2016 against budget cuts;
• ensuring Virginia’s youth aging out of foster care are enrolled in health insurance;
• continuing to improve safety in child care; and
• ensuring rapid access to mental health care.
