Mother’s Day is just around the corner! What better way to honor our biological, adoptive, foster mothers, and other mother figures, who are our first and greatest champions, than with a donation to help Virginia’s kids. At Voices, we understand the importance of being champions for kids! As a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization, we have a 25-year track record advocating for data-driven public policies that improve the lives of Virginia’s children.

During this year’s General Assembly Session, Voices successfully advocated for:

• the creation of the bipartisan Foster Care Caucus,
• better access to school counselors,
• increased financial assistance for low-income families,
• improvements to integrate children’s mental health with primary health care,
• and preserving the opportunity for more than 1,500 at-risk four-year-olds to attend high-quality preschool.
