The Virginia General Assembly begins January 13th! With a virtual session this year, traditional advocacy will either be limited or not exist at all due to COVID-19 restrictions. Advocacy is an organized process of influencing people or institutions in order to achieve a stated positive change. Voices’ Racial Truth & Reconciliation Virginia is hosting an advocacy cohort of caregivers, art activists, and youth this year. Participation in the advocacy day will be limited because of Zoom and legislative meeting capacity. We have created different options for volunteer advocates to support and engage in our advocacy this year below! Check all of the options that you are interested in.
