University of Richmond Downtown

Please join Voices and other partners in advocacy January 30, 2019 for our Campaign for a Trauma-Informed Virginia’s Advocacy Day!

From 8:30am to 9:30am, we will begin the day with partners at the University of Richmond Downtown (626 East Broad Street, Multipurpose Room B01) in the lower level reception area to hear an overview of the latest issues and talking points.

From 9:30am to 11:00am, we will walk down do the General Assembly for appointments scheduled with legislators for advocates who have registered through Voices.

At the conclusion of your meetings, we will gather at the Performing Statistics- A Project of Art 180 Gallery  in the SunTrust building to view an art installation produced by system-involved youth. We encourage adults to fully participate in this space and hear the youth voice of these issues. And the end of the day you are welcome to join us for a debrief on the day with each other in the cafeteria on the 3rd floor of SunTrust.

Registration will close on Monday, January 28th.

If you cannot be in Richmond, you can participate virtually. More instructions here!
