By Allison Gilbreath

With the Presidential election in our rear view mirrors, Virginia politics has begun to heat up. In November, Virginia will elect a new Governor.  Youth want to know where candidates stand on issues that impact them personally. Voices for Virginia’s Children aims to amplify the voice of youth during the 2017 election season by hosting a youth-led Gubernatorial Forum on September 8th where important questions about children and youth will be asked.

Thank You for Voting in Our Contest!

The Winner is:

Ashley Parker from Reynolds Community College who asked:

The Commonwealth of Virginia has the largest population of youth aging out of foster care, how will your policies support this population?
