Did you know there are over 200 indicators on child well-being in Virginia’s KIDS COUNT Data Center?

As new data becomes available, Voices updates the Data Center so that the most relevant data is always at your fingertips!

Nearly 40 of those indicators are provided at the locality (county and/or city) level. This means you can look at how the county or city you live in compares to others in Virginia on topics such as child economic well-being, education, health, and foster care.

We have just completed updating 23 indicators across the economic well-being, education, health, and safety and risk domains.

Data is a good way to help us know what questions we still need to ask when advocating for children and families. It helps us see what has worked and what work we still need to do. So check out our Data Center now and see how kids are doing in your community.
