About the Award
Voices held its inaugural Carol S. Fox MAKING KIDS COUNT Awards Reception in 2012. The awards presented at this annual reception are named in honor of Carol Spaulding Fox, a co-founder and long-time board member at Voices. The awards recognize Virginia individuals and organizations for their exemplary efforts to improve the lives of children in the commonwealth. Our 2017 individual honoree was Janice Dinkins Davidson. Our 2017 organization honorees were St. Joseph’s Villa and Virginia Latino Higher Education Network (VALHEN).
