Voices for Virginia’s Children introduces, “A Radical Rest Conversation”, time set aside for an intentional discussion around recuperation, resetting and the establishment of new routines focused on ‘rest as resistance’ and ‘rest as a critical component of our journey toward justice’. This conversation will explore the Seven Types of Rest and give participants permission to tend to their tiredness, both as a form of self-advocacy and as a form of collective healing and sustainability in this work of change-making and social justice.
